It costs $49-$59 per consultation plus the cost of the medication at the pharmacy. The consultation cost is often more affordable than typical specialist copays.

For the cost of non-compounded medications obtained from the pharmacy, you have the option to utilize the CareCard coupons we provide to get a significant discount on the price on the medication itself.

For compounded medications (like LDN & ketotifen), there is a cash price with our partner compounding pharmacy that varies based on the dose and # of capsules dispensed. Generally insurances don't cover compounded medications. We chose our partner pharmacy (after speaking with several) because they provide very competitive prices and high quality.

RTHM Direct does not require an appointment with a provider or pharmacist. A RTHM clinician will review the information you have provided in your assessment and decide whether a medication is appropriate for you.

To obtain a refill for your medication, you will need to fill out the refill flow in the RTHM Direct Dashboard at least 5 days before you run out of your medication. (RTHM Direct medications are not eligible for automatic refills from the pharmacy.)

Each RTHM Direct consultation that results in an approval includes prescribing for up to a 90-day supply of the medication. If you are new to the medication, you are prescribed a 30 day supply with instructions on how to start at a low dose and taper up slowly to find the dose that works best for you. Five days prior to running out of the 30 day supply, fill out the renewal flow on your RTHM Direct Dashboard so we can see how you are doing on the medication and prescribe the best dose for your follow up 60 day supply. If you are on a stable dose of the medication already, you will receive a 90-day supply of the medication.

For patients seeking a medication they have not taken before, we will supply with you a 30-day prescription during which you will titrate up your dose.

We will then prescribe the next 60 days of treatment at the dose that works best for you. In future consultations, when you are on a stable dose of medication, you’ll be able to get 90 day resupplies.

For patients who are on a stable dose on medication, you will receive a prescription for 90 days supply.
